Salty Aquatics & Fish provides aquarium-related livestock (freshwater and saltwater), supplies, equipment, tanks, filtration, lighting, and maintenance services.
- **Livestock:** We strive to provide the healthiest livestock possible. However, the health of aquatic life is dependent on the environment provided by the owner.
- **Service Limitations:** Maintenance services are subject to separate service agreements.
- **Accuracy:** We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.
### 4. Livestock Policy
All livestock sales are subject to our **Refund & DOA Policy** (<LEGAL_DOCUMENT:a98663ed-164d-47be-bcfa-027c8e9b6d2e>).
- **In-Store Freshwater Fish:** Subject to a 7-day refund policy, provided the death is reported within 24 hours.
- **In-Store Saltwater Livestock:** No refunds or guarantees once the livestock leaves the premises.
- **Shipped Livestock:** Subject to a 48-hour notification window for Dead On Arrival (DOA) claims.
- **Requirement:** As per our current policy, proof of purchase and water samples are not required for claims, but photographic evidence of the deceased specimen is required for shipped orders.
### 5. Pricing and Payment
Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any service or product at any time. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, or discontinuance.
- **Maintenance Services:** Maintenance services may be subject to periodic price adjustments (including, for example, a 5% increase effective April 1, 2026).
- Payments are processed through our secure checkout system. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store.
### 5. Proper Use and Advice
Salty Aquatics & Fish provides expert advice for aquarium hobbyists. However, this advice is for informational purposes only. The ultimate responsibility for the care, compatibility, and environment of the livestock rests with the customer. Salty Aquatics & Fish is not liable for "tank crashes," disease outbreaks, or livestock losses resulting from the introduction of new specimens or equipment into a customer's existing system.
### 6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Salty Aquatics & Fish shall not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation, lost profits, lost revenue, or replacement costs, arising from your use of any of our products or services.
- This includes, but is not limited to, damages caused by equipment failure, water leaks, or property damage resulting from the use of aquarium products purchased from us.
### 7. Intellectual Property
All content on saltyafcc.com, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Salty Aquatics & Fish and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, or sell any portion of the Site without express written permission from us.
